Vision Board as a Tool to Stimulate
Sociocultural Engagement and Tech Proficiency Among Community Youths

WHAT

Digital vision boards are collages of computer generated visual images used to convey thoughts and ideas that express insights about the world we would like to see and be part of in the future. They can be used to express dreams and desires about our futures as family and community members and can help inspire and motivate steps towards making these dreams and desires come true.

How do kids create Vision Boards utilizing a computer?

The Canva app for creating vision boards. The Canva app has a Magic Studio set of multimedia tools with artificial Intelligence capabilities that youths to access and creat libraries of images for inclusion on their  vision boards. These images and resources allow youths to artistically enact their visions about their future being in a world setting where people live out identities and relationships that are meaningful and culturally responsive to their dreams and asoirations.
